Drita was born in 1969 and has lived in Milwaukee WI, Rockaway Park, NY; Athens, Greece; and Austin TX before settling down to raise a family in San Antonio, TX. Now a resident of Live Oak, TX, she enjoys the small, suburban life, with access to everything the large city of San Antonio has to offer.

 Her entire life was, and is surrounded by creative and talented people who have a passion for art. In 2001 she was introduced to stained glass and immediately fell in love with glass. This opened the door to other techniques of glass art.  Having taken several classes and workshops over the years with some of the most talented glass artists in North America, her glass techniques included stained glass, fused glass, and sgraffito in glass. 

 Drita’s love for painting came when she pursued art classes at St. Philips college. She find tremendous pleasure creating large abstracts that she turns into multiple pieces that span across a large wall.
