Coffee Beans

(8 pieces) wall art measuring 18” h x 55” w including the space between each piece.

Inspired by my favorite coffee shop, a comfortable atmosphere along with the smell of fresh roasted coffee beans. I sat there sipping on my cinnamon latte, in my own thought, as I looked up to the freshly painted gray wall, my desire to create was overwhelming. Each piece came to me one by one as I looked across the wall. The color, shapes and flow of glass. black, white & fuchsia.

Movement Series

The fused glass art was created in multiple firings in the kiln up to 1465 degrees. Using several techniques to create each piece of artwork. Using powdered frit glass for the base of colors, glass dots and vitrigraph glass. each Piece takes several days to create. Once completed the glass is mounted on black ink stained Poplar wood.
